Materials to build a daily habit
Workbooks, reading and movement trackers, and classroom materials help children follow the 30-day challenge and see their progress.
Stronger readers. Stronger bodies. One daily rhythm.
Read & Move It™ is a 30-day literacy and movement model built around 15 minutes of reading and 15 minutes of movement every day.
Since launching on October 20, 2025, Read & Move It™ has documented more than 2,000 participants at 18 school and community locations in Kansas and Missouri. The program also connects with Chicago through Horizons for Youth, with a school resource partnership in Newton, Massachusetts.

Verified impact
Documented participation includes 1,138 students across 12 first-semester locations and 950+ children across six Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis sites.
The 1,000 Kids Campaign
Temple Made Foundation is working to expand Read & Move It™ to more children through schools and community partners.
At $35 per child, our campaign goal is $35,000 for 1,000 children to take part in the full program experience, including materials, reading and movement support, and rewards that celebrate their progress.

A simple daily rhythm
Students spend a focused daily block reading.
A second daily block adds accessible physical movement.
The simple rhythm is completed every day throughout the program.
Kickoff and celebration moments help the school community recognize participation.

Imagination in action
The daily rhythm starts with 15 minutes of reading and 15 minutes of movement. Seasonal art, pumpkin decorating, and creative celebrations offer more ways for children to explore ideas and share what they learn.
Schools and community partners can work with Temple Made Fitness to shape themes and activities for their children and setting.
